Efficient heat exchanger with Rhombic finned tube

Brief Introduction:

The rhombic finned tube is made of common smooth tube after special processing to create the three-dimensional fins on the outer surface of tube, which do not run continuously in both the circumferential and axial directions.

When it is used for heat exchange through condensation, the special structure of three-dimensional fins can differentiate the surface tension of condensate film. The condensate is pulled toward the roots of fins while the surfaces of fins are always in the state of thin film and low heat resistance. Thus, it can considerably strengthen the condensation heat transfer outside the tube and improve the speed of condensation. 

1) High heat transfer coefficient.

2) Low shell-side flow resistance.

3) By eliminating the dead zone in the transverse baffles and reducing the fouling, the heat exchanger can maintain the high efficiency of heat transfer during service life.

4) The longitudinal flow of shell-side medium can reduce the vibration of tube, so as to effectively reduce the early damage caused by the vibration of tube bundles to the heat exchange tube.  

1) It can improve the overall heat transfer capacity by 30%~50% compared with smooth tubes.

2) Its shell-side pressure drop is only around 50%-80% of that with smooth baffles.

3) Specification: diameter φ≤3,000mm and length ≤9,000mm for heat exchanger diameter φ16mm—φ32mm and length L≤9000mm for heat exchange tube.
