Carboxymethyl Hydroxypropyl Guar

Brief Introduction:

Increase viscosity, reduce fluid loss and decrease fluid friction

LH-201 is double modified guar gum from carboxymethyl hydroxypropyl ether, specially designed for petroleum industry as additives for aqueous and water/methanol-based fracturing fluids.

 

LH-201 in aqueous fluids is used in drilling deeper wells and hotter oil and gas wells hydraulic fracturing. These applications utilize its properties to increase viscosity, reduce fluid loss and decrease fluid friction. In these systems, crosslinking can be delayed until the fluid is entering the fracture, significantly reducing the required pumping pressure. It also produces less “residue after break” within the fracture.

 

LH-202 is a new-type product from the twice chemical modification of the natural polymer of Guar Gum. Because of the new functional groups, the spatial network structure of the polymer formed by the crosslinking with metal ion, is more stable, which furtherstrengthens its thermal stability, and makes it more resistant to high temperature and shear.

 

LH-203 is double modified guar gum from carboxymethyl hydroxypropyl ether, specially designed for petroleum industry as additives for aqueous and water/methanol-based fracturing fluids. It can achieve high viscosity without any buffer systems. It can release the 90% viscosity immediately within 3 minutes.
