Drill-stem Test Tool

Brief Introduction:

Drill-stem test tool can be used in the cased hole for the fullbore formation testing, tubing transmission perforation, circulation operation, sand the triple operation of perforation, testing, acidizing & fracturing.

At a certain position, annulus pressure could operate other tools many times and influence nothing upon this valve.

With the packer set, pump pressure applied to the annulus moves the mandrel downward, activates the operating arms and opens the ball valve. When the annulus pressure is released, pressurized nitrogen returns the piston upward, closing the ball.

The nitrogen chamber is charged to a selected pressure on the surface determined operating pressure table with factors of surface temperature, downhole temperature and downhole pressure.

Annulus pressure goes into annular hole at the bottom of oil chamber when this tool is put to downhole and compress hydraulic oil both above and below metering cartridge.
